Custom Interior Signs
That Guide and Inform.
Interior signage designed to improve navigation and create a better experience for customers and visitors.
Interior Signs That Enhance Every Environment.
Branded Lobby & Reception Signs.
Your lobby is often the first impression visitors have of your business. Custom lobby signs featuring dimensional lettering, logos, or wall graphics help create a professional atmosphere while reinforcing your brand identity the moment someone walks through the door.
Wayfinding & Directional Signage.
Clear directional signage helps visitors navigate your building with confidence. Wayfinding systems reduce confusion, improve flow through your space, and make it easier for customers, guests, and employees to find where they need to go.
Room Identification & Office Signs.
Interior room signs provide clear labeling for offices, meeting rooms, restrooms, and other important spaces. Consistent signage throughout your building helps maintain organization while creating a professional, cohesive look.
Types of Interior Signs
A complete interior sign program usually combines several sign types that work as a system:
Lobby & reception signs
Dimensional letters, logos, or backlit wall signs that set the first impression the moment a visitor walks in.
ADA & room identification signs
Permanent signs for offices, restrooms, and meeting rooms, built to accessibility code (see the next section).
Directories
Building or floor directories that orient visitors at decision points; printable or modular so they’re easy to update as tenants change.
Interior wayfinding
Directional signage that moves people through the building with confidence. For larger campus or exterior wayfinding programs, see our wayfinding signs.
Branded wall graphics & environmental signage
Vinyl, cut letters, or large-format graphics that turn blank walls into brand moments.
Fabricated in acrylic, aluminum, dimensional lettering, and printed vinyl, interior signs can be matched to your brand colors, fonts, and décor so the whole space reads as one coordinated system rather than a pile of one-off signs.
ADA-Compliant Interior Signage: What's Required
Permanent room-identification signs — restrooms, stairwells, exits, and rooms with a fixed name or number — must meet ADA accessibility standards. In practice that means:
- Tactile (raised) characters and Grade 2 Braille on signs identifying permanent rooms and spaces.
- Sans-serif fonts with specified character height and stroke width, and high contrast between the characters and their background (with a non-glare finish).
- Correct mounting — typically on the latch side of the door at a defined height to the baseline of the tactile text.
- Pictograms (e.g., restroom symbols) sized and positioned to standard.
Getting ADA signage right protects you from compliance headaches and makes your building genuinely usable for everyone. We design and fabricate ADA-compliant interior signs that still look like they belong to your brand — for businesses in Hickory, Asheville, Winston-Salem, and across North Carolina.
